Depression Does Not Discriminate

On August 11, 2014 legendary actor and comedian Robin Williams died at the age of 63, reportedly from suicide. As stated by those closest to him, Williams’ was battling depression for many years.

Depression can trouble even those like Williams, who seemingly have it all. It does not discriminate. Instead depression distorts reality, causing many to believe there is no relief from the emotional distress that has troubled them relentlessly.
